Tot Shabbat

What is Tot Shabbat?

Tot Shabbat is a Shabbat service for toddlers! This is your child's first opportunity to experience Jewish prayer and culture. It is shorter and more active than a normal Shabbat service. We read stories and sings songs about the holidays. We have very few rules about sitting still or keeping quiet. This service is usually geared towards children from birth to 4 years old. But a lot of older siblings enjoy attending too!

The following Tot Shabbat services are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

***Due to COVID-19, all Tot Shabbats are occurring virtually. Please email me if you'd like to attend.***

Shir Tikvah Congregation Tot Shabbat is the first Saturday of each month. It begins at 9:30 am and runs about 30 minutes. It is followed by an Oneg*. On occasion, there is an additional activity for the children and their families.

Mount Zion Temple Tot Shabbat is the second Saturday of each month starting September 2016. It begins at 10:30 am and runs about 30-45 minutes. It is followed by a potluck lunch and craft activity.
